The MLS commish is saying good things about Portland. This is not good. The only good thing in this article is that a potential new baseball stadium may be at the old MC site or in Northwest on the river.
The Red Sox are going to reveal some new gear–jerseys, hats, etc–tonight at 6 pm Eastern.
The Sox gear looks pretty sweet. The new road grays hearken back to the days of yore (from 1936 to 1989 while forgetting the awful 1972-78 unis). The font on the front looks to be like the home font rather than the old block print. There is also a nice navy alternate jersey and a cool-looking alternate cap (though the navy “B” hats are tough to beat).
