Pilate’s Public Square

What is Truth?

As we enter the Triduum, the world grows quiet, or at least it ought to.

Two thousand years ago, a Roman bureaucrat looked at the Author of Life and asked, “What is truth?”

Pilate was the original champion of the modern public square. He washed his hands, claimed neutrality, and let the mob have its turn.

The secularists today play the exact same game. They call it “free speech” and demand that truth and error share the same stage. They mistake indifferentism for liberty.

Until then, maintain your focus on what matters during these holy days.
